Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Aishwarya Bachchan, famous blue-green eyed indian actress and a runner up of 1994 Miss World beauty pageant behind Sushmita Sen, began her career as a model. In 1997, she made her acting debut in a film Iruvar with Mohanlal and was introduced to other Bollywood film Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. She then went to other Bollywood films Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, a film that earned her first acting award as Best Actress. Rai appeared in more than 10 Bollywood movies then in 2005, she signed a 3-year contract with L'Oreal as as spokesmodel for the cosmetics company.
