Former Miss Paraguay runner-up in 2006, Leryn Franco ( born on March 1, 1982 ) is a Paraguayan athlete specializes in javelin throw. At age 17, Leryn broke Paraguay national records for both javelin and triple jump. After winning bronze medal, Franco won the South American Junior Championship in 2001. She then competed at the 2004 Athens Olympics and currently at 2008 Beijing Olympics for Paraguay.
